Danaher Motion, the world's leading provider of motion control solutions, today announced the launch of the eZMP SynqNet® controller. This high-performance stand-alone controller ensures precise motion, automation, and user interface operation for industrial computers that are flexible, scalable, and upgradeable. The eZMP controls 64-axis motion and 17,000-point I/O with Ethernet, USB, video and PCI connectivity. At the same time, eZMP is the SynqNet motion network master controller that controls fast, secure, plug-and-play SynqNet amplifiers and I/O devices. It is the ideal control for semiconductors, electronics integration, machine tools, general-purpose robots and specialized machine applications.
Jeff Pike, product line manager for Danaher Motion eZMP, said: "eZMP combines the full power, flexibility and connectivity of industrial computers with real-time 64-bit multi-axis motion and I/O control. This eliminates acquisition, Integrate and manage the hassles associated with changes in industrial PCs while ensuring high performance and flexibility."
eZMP allows programming with Visual Basic, C/C++/C# or other third-party software packages. eZMP uses the Windows XPe operating system as an upgradeable open machine control platform and supports other real-time operating systems. eZMP has built-in interfaces for easy connection to Ethernet TCP/IP, USB 2.0, device USB, VGA and serial interfaces. In addition, eZMP also has PCI extensions.
