Yuchai Machine Releases 8 Engines in 2014
The three engines Yuchai released are market segments developed by Yuchai’s 4 high-end light trucks and light passenger vehicles. The first light truck power is the YC4E-48, which uses diesel engine power for highway light trucks with a two-valve cylinder head, Bosch Common Rail System + EGR+DOC+POC technology. This engine power covers 103~118kW. The obvious cost advantage is the ideal driving force for 4×2 city-wide logistics, special vehicles and mid-to-long-distance standard load carriers.
The second light truck power is YC4S-48. This product is developed on the platform product 4S and is suitable for the high-end highway light truck market. It also uses the common rail + EGR + DOC + POC technical route to achieve the national 4 emission, power Cover 88-110kW. It is the preferred power for high-end road vehicles and 5-8 tons of trucks with total mass.
The third light power is YC4D20's 2-liter vertical diesel power. This engine is a product jointly developed by Yuchai and AVL. It is suitable for light passengers, light trucks, etc.; with four-valve, dual overhead camshaft, high pressure common rail and more Injection technology, electric EGR valve, variable swirl air intake system. Engine power up to 60kW/L. It is the ideal power for SUV/MPV/N2 class high-end light passengers up to 6 meters.
Yuchai's newly developed second-generation hybrid powertrain assembly also made its debut at the press conference. This new energy powered YCHPTII is an upgraded system based on the first generation hybrid system. The system inherits the advantages of high integration and high power density of the single-axis parallel connection, which can adapt to the needs of deep hybrid and plug-in systems, and receive new energy subsidies from the country. The manual gearbox is fully upgraded to a 5-speed AMT with intelligent shifting, manual integration, and power/economy mode switching. The products fully meet the customer requirements of the national 12th five-year new energy vehicle planning and market segments.
Yuchai also issued a 400-hp YC6MK engine for road trucks. The engine is specially developed for the running characteristics of road vehicles. On the one hand, it focuses on the low-middle-speed performance, and on the other hand, it significantly raises the low-speed torque, thereby ensuring the stable operation of the vehicle at high-speed and low-speed rotation. The high-speed fuel consumption of the vehicle test reached an excellent level of 32 liters/100 km, which saved about 6 liters of oil than the competing product. In NVH, Yuchai's new calibration technology was applied for the first time, which reduced the overall vehicle noise by more than 3 decibels, and achieved comfort ahead of its peers. At the same time, more than 70% of the engine's core components use international brand products, and the rotary angle tightening process is applied to ensure high-end quality.
At the same time, there are also two special powers for construction machinery that meet the T3 emission standards. The first model is a power product for the 50 loader: YC6G220L-T31. This product is a representative product of the miniaturization of 50 loaders, with a displacement of 7.8 liters. It can completely replace the mainstream 10 litre displacement power in the T3 stage. The engine adopts supercharged intercooling technology and electronically controlled fuel system, which can switch different power outputs according to operating conditions. The torque and power reserve are high and the response is rapid.
The second model is a small digging dedicated power YC4FA45-T30 series diesel engine that fits 3-5 tons hydraulic excavator. The engine uses a mechanical rotor pump, which has a small rate of adjustment, rapid response, and a low fuel consumption area. Meet EU S3A or EPA Int.
