In the past two months, the city rescued 1749 people

As the lead agency, the Civil Affairs Bureau has arranged for the deployment of vagrants and beggars to rescue work several times. The civil administration and urban management successively issued a notice to ensure that there are no vagrants and beggars to provide assistance and management during the double festival period. On January 7, the director of the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau paid special attention to the city's rescue station. The city's rescue station carried out the “winter to send warmth” and increased efforts to take the initiative to help the streets. All districts and counties and civil affairs, urban management, public security, and public health departments at all levels took active actions and coordinated with each other in accordance with the division of responsibilities. The relief and management of vagrants and beggars had achieved remarkable results.

It is understood that in the past two months, the city has rescued 1,749 people. At present, 120 people in the city rescue station receive assistance (including 16 minors), and 70 people are treated in designated hospitals. For the vagrants and beggars who did not want to receive assistance at the rescue station, a total of 563 coats, 287 quilts and 886 food and food were distributed.

Open up temporary cold shelters and timely rescue

In order to deal with the threat posed by catastrophic climate such as severe cold to vagrants and beggars, and deepen the management of urban refinement, the next step will be to strengthen the supervision and inspection of the civil affairs bureau, supervise and urge the district and county and related functional departments to divide the work according to their responsibilities, and improve the work plan. At the same time, to further increase service support, the city's various rescue and management stations do a good job of station services and management, procurement and storage of necessary cotton clothing, quilts and food. Strengthen departmental collaboration and social participation, supervise collaboration between districts and counties, civil affairs, urban management, public security, and public health departments, establish and improve grassroots organizations (sub-districts), community (village) committees and other grassroots organizations to prevent group-assist networks, and at the same time, open up some temporary measures according to local conditions. Cold shelters provide immediate relief to those who are begging for vagrancy.
