Xeikon Introduces New Entry-Level Label Printer

Saikang has introduced an entry-level label printer with a print width of 516 mm.

The 3050 is the top model in the Xeikon 3000 Series entry-level label printers. It has a print speed of 9.6 meters per minute and a print width of between 250 mm and 516 mm.

This press uses a rotary printing system based on LED arrays and can be printed on a variety of substrates, including self-adhesive, paperboard, paper weights between 40-350 g/m2, opaque and transparent foils. 1200dpi resolution on the object.

It uses QA-I6 toner to meet FDA requirements for food packaging. Filip Weymans, Business Development Manager at Saikang, said: “All our presses can be upgraded, and any entry-level model can be upgraded to the highest configuration in the customer's printing plant. Take the Xeikon 3030 as an example. It can be upgraded to the faster model 3300 or other models. It is understood that Secon 3050 will be officially listed early next year.
