Wan Gang said that the current direction of the transformation of the automotive industry and the increasingly clear line of technology, hybrid vehicles, will become the main way to upgrade the traditional car energy-saving emission reduction technology, pure electric, including plug-in deep-seated electric vehicles, will become the future of the car The mainstream of development strategy, and fuel cell vehicles will become the commanding heights of the future automotive industry.

Wan Gang said that according to the forecast of the International Energy Agency, by 2021, the number of hybrid electric vehicles will reach 20 million, and the world electric vehicle industry will enter a stage of rapid development.

Wan Gang pointed out that in the future, the Chinese government will focus on three tasks: First, integrate scientific and technological resources, optimize the basic conditions and macro environment for the development of electric vehicles, increase the effect of R&D investment and the efficiency of technological innovation, and second, actively explore new business models. Accelerate the demonstration and promotion of electric vehicles; the third is to further deepen international exchanges and cooperation and promote the internationalization of electric vehicles.
