New standard raises new requirements for auto parts suppliers

At the "3rd China Automotive Electronics and Electronics Leaders Forum", Mr. Shi Weiwei, Deputy General Manager of Delphi Pike Electrical Systems Co., Ltd., described the new requirements of the new quality management system certification standards for auto parts suppliers.

ISO9001:2000 version and TS16949:2002 version put forward new and more explicit requirements for supplier management. The ISO9001:2000 version corresponds to the entire enterprise's system management, requiring static user management to become dynamic process management. TS16949:2002 version puts forward three requirements for system management: first, resource sharing and benefit sharing; secondly, focusing on quality planning; and thirdly, focusing on customers. Shi Wei explained that the first point is inconsistent with the current implementation of the supplier policy. The current OEMs are exerting great pressure on parts suppliers, and they still do not talk about the sharing of resources and benefits; in the second point, the entire vehicle factory and zero Parts factories and their suppliers must keep pace with each other in the supply chain. It is necessary to change the development situation of the former ladder, that is, after the development of the entire vehicle plant, the development of the parts factory, and then the development of the supplier; The point is the need for personalized synchronized production.

The new quality management system puts forward four requirements for parts suppliers. First, the new TS16949 standard requires quality management to be extended at both ends. That is, while ensuring the quality of the ex-factory, it must also fully pay attention to and grasp the quality of the incoming goods, and control the entry of raw materials; the need for re-enactment, selection, evaluation, and re-evaluation of suppliers. The guidelines. Secondly, due to the requirement for simultaneous development in the new standard, the supplier's supply requirements have raised the distinction between normal state and emergency state. If it is a state of emergency, its risk is high. In TS16949, an urgent response is made to each link, and the supplier itself also has a corresponding emergency situation. Third, the supplier's evaluation puts forward the historical status quo, that is, through a large amount of data to evaluate the history, rather than as the past review team went to the scene to determine whether qualified. Fourth, emphasize that if there are special circumstances during quality and delivery, corresponding special circumstances must be analyzed. This is not the same as in the past. In the past, emphasis was placed on the normal situation. If something abnormal happens, it is usually handled as a special case, that is, on the matter; now it is reversed, normal conditions are not commented, and abnormal situations must be analyzed, which requires that the management of the process is more refined. .
