The structure of rock refers to a macroscopic state formed by the dynamic geological action of rock when it is formed and after it is formed. Mainly refers to bedding, lamella and cracks. The bedding shows a change in the composition of the rock in the vertical direction. The slice is the ability of the rock to split into thin slices along parallel planes.
When drilling holes in relatively developed rock layers, the direction of the borehole should be perpendicular to the bedding plane to prevent the calcination from reducing the rock drilling efficiency. Generally, the bedding development is beneficial to the blasting, but if it is too developed, the blasting effect will be affected. Even the shaped blasthole can not be drilled.
