Affected by the external impact of this year's No. 6 tropical storm "Shizishan", Guiyang Town, Yongchun County, Fujian Province, suddenly dropped in the evening on the 29th, a rare heavy rainstorm caused a period of torrential rain, causing flooding and mudslides. The reporter learned from relevant authorities on the 30th that heavy rain has caused the collapse of 22 houses and 195 local houses, and 3 people died.

After the flood, Guiyang Town was a messy place. There were thick silt everywhere. Secondary schools and kindergartens were flooded. All the houses along the stream were affected. According to the local people’s briefings, it began to rain at about 7:50 on the 29th, just over an hour, and the rain flooded the entire town. Two children who were sleeping in the room had been forced to escape in a crashing house before they could escape.

According to the meteorological department's measurements, from 19:50 to 22:10 on the 29th, the rainfall in Guiyang Town of Yongchun County was 181 mm, of which, from 21 to 22 points, the rainfall amounted to 96.3 mm, which was rare in 100 years. The sudden torrential rain triggered flash floods and mudslides, causing a large-scale power outage in the Guiyang region, disruption of fixed-line telephone calls, and landslides leading to local roads. Traffic was blocked.

After the disaster occurred, the local government quickly acted to rescue the disaster. The Yongchun County Emergency Rescue Team organized more than 80 emergency rescue personnel, dispatched ambulances, assault boats, and large-scale machinery to rush to the affected areas and put them into relief work. As of the time of the press release, 892 people have been transferred from the local population.
