To promote lighting replacement in public areas, the Kerala Power Supply Authority of India has set up two LED solar trees in the Banasura Sagar Park, designed from an entrepreneurial team of four Indian engineers who graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology. The newly installed LED Sun Tree is 3.5 meters high and is equipped with solar panels and LED lights on 6 large petals. The LED luminaire can be illuminated for 12 hours under sufficient light conditions. K. Valsala Kumari, spokesperson for the Kerala Power Supply Authority, said: The task we gave to the startup team was to create innovative solar outdoor luminaires of different shapes and sizes. The power supply bureau plans to implement such lighting solutions in public areas such as parks or gardens.

A recovery strap is designed to "recover" a vehicle from the ditch, mud, etc. Nylon recovery straps have loops on each end for ease of use. A Tow Strap should not be used to recover or "snatch" a vehicle that's stuck. Traditional vehicle tow straps are much less flexible and designed only to pull a load that freely moves.
