Yesterday, news from Dajiang Industrial Group stated that currently FAW Group has listed them as the major production and sales partners of heavy-duty vehicles, and the first heavy-duty dump truck modified from Aowei has been offline.

Aowei is currently the first brand of domestic heavy trucks, with a maximum design load of up to 70 tons. It is understood that in addition to the Aowei vehicle modification license obtained by FAW, Dajiang will also be responsible for sales of Aowei modified vehicles in the southwest region. As one of the cooperation contents, Dajiang will also set up a factory in Penglai, Shandong to provide parts and components for FAW heavy trucks including Aowei.

Dajiang sources revealed that in addition to the status of the conversion and sales of the Aowei Heavy Truck Southwest, they will soon become one of the implementers of the development strategy of the heavy trucks of the North Mercedes-Benz. It is reported that Beiben plans to produce and sell 60,000 heavy trucks in the next five years, of which 35,000 will be produced at its Qingdao plant, 15,000 will be produced by other subsidiaries and partners, and another 20,000 will take special and modified vehicles. However, in Dajiang's view, the cooperation with FAW and Beiben is a key step for them to become the mainstream camp of the entire vehicle.
