Recently, the National Standard GB/T 28569-2012 "Electric Vehicle AC Charging Point Electrical Energy Metering" led by the State Grid Corporation of China and edited by the Chinese Academy of Electric Power has been approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Administration. Formally implemented on the 1st of the month.
At present, China's electric vehicle industry is in a critical period of growth, but the long-term lack of uniform standards for charging facilities has become a major obstacle to the development of the electric vehicle industry. In order to accelerate the construction of electric vehicle charging facilities and promote the development of the electric vehicle industry and low-carbon recycling economy, in 2010, the China Electricity Council Standardization Management Center issued the "2010 National Standard Plan Application Project." As the main compiling unit of "Electrical Vehicle AC Charging Point Electricity Metering", China Electric Power Research Institute has conducted a large amount of research work in the early stage and has extensively obtained expert opinions from various industries, and has fully grasped the charging characteristics of AC charging piles for electric vehicles.
The "Electric Vehicle AC Charging Point Energy Metering" standard covers the technical requirements for the electric energy metering of the electric vehicle's AC charging pile and the configuration and installation requirements, test methods and inspection rules of the electric energy metering device. The implementation of the standard will provide standard support for the commercialization of charging facilities, provide technical basis for the design, production and acceptance of AC charging piles and energy metering devices for charging metering, and promote the development and application of electric vehicles and charging facilities industries.
Since the “Ninth Five-Year Plan†period, the national electric vehicle sub-committee has organized 51 sets of standards for electric vehicles that have been formulated by industry forces and approved by the standardization department, of which 36 are national standards and 15 are automotive industry standards, which strongly support electric vehicles. Evaluation of achievements in science and technology projects, demonstration of electric vehicles, access to new energy vehicles, and product access management. In addition, there are six standards for electric motorcycles.
Up to now, there are 12 standards that have been submitted for approval by the technical review. There are 28 standards that are currently being revised, including 8 amendments. There is currently no standard plan but 41 criteria for the preliminary study have been initiated.
