This indicates that CNPC has built the largest integrated laboratory CBM exploration and development laboratory in China with the most comprehensive analysis and testing programs.
The China National Petroleum CBM Laboratory started the national metrological certification in 1994 and successfully passed the 4-year qualification review. At present, the laboratory has more than 10 sets of international advanced equipment and equipment, forming a complete laboratory testing technology series. In particular, it is at the leading level both at home and abroad in terms of coal bed methane accumulation simulation, coal bed methane rapid desorption and coal thermal deformation simulation. On the basis of a large number of test and analysis tests, this laboratory combines theoretical research with the practice of coalbed methane exploration, and proposes six geological theories of coalbed methane accumulation in China, forming CBM resources evaluation, reserves evaluation, and other Chinese coalbed methane Exploration and development of eight key technologies.
These technical equipment and exploration theory have played a major role in the exploration of coalbed methane resources in China, providing raw data for the exploration of CBM reserves of 46 billion cubic meters, control forecast of 200 billion cubic meters, and development of the Qinshui CBM field.
