With the handheld FlashDrop unit, important parameters can be downloaded to the drive quickly and safely. The unit can store several parameter sets. For the sake of convenience, each set of parameter sets can be named to clearly indicate the relevant end user or application. A particularly useful feature is the parameter setting that can be done without the drive being powered up – there is virtually no need to unpack the drive. For dealers, the frequency converter can be easily pre-configured prior to delivery and helps OEMs with large production volumes to simplify the commissioning process.
