· 2016 the most valuable car rankings: GM occupied multiple seats

On December 15, 2015, the Kelley Blue Book (KBB) announced the list of the most valuable models in the US market. General Motors, Lexus and Subaru performed well and occupied multiple seats.
KBB released the "2016 Best Resale Value Award Winners" list, and selected the most valuable models from the 2016 new models, not only the top 10 new cars. At the same time, the most preserved models were selected in 22 market segments.

36-month retention rate: 59.3%. 60-month retention rate: 47.3%.
Judging from the above rankings, pickups and SUVs occupy the absolute mainstream of the top ten, reaching 5 and 3 models respectively, and one for each of the cars and sports cars. The 36-month hedge rate/residual rate is up to 72.9%, while the 60-month hedge rate is 61.7%, which means that after 5 years, it can still be resold at a price of more than 60%.
According to the company, GM has four cars, GMC Canyon, Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet Camaro and GMC Sierra. Although Toyota has three models, it ranks higher.
22 market segments KBB also ranks car-holding ratios for 22 market segments. On the brand level, Toyota's Lexus has six cars to become the champion of a certain market segment, while Subaru has four models to win the market segment.
Therefore, KBB named Subaru as "2016 Best RESALE VALUE: BRAND"; Lexus is "2016 Best RESALE VALUE: LUXURY BRAND"
