Such as car exhaust, fecal odor, even if the aroma is too thick to make people unhappy, it will be called bad odor. The “Intelligent Odor Tester” jointly developed by the National Key Laboratory of Environmental Pollution Malodor Pollution Control and a company has completely independent property rights, and has recently passed the identification of scientific and technological achievements organized by Tianjin High-Tech Achievement Transformation Center and put into use. .

The reporter saw in the laboratory that the instrument was slightly larger than the average microwave oven and was easy to carry. According to the staff, it can replace the workload of two or three people. The degree of automation is high, the efficiency is greatly improved, and the measurement data is also more reliable. It is the first dynamic dilute instrument in the world that fully complies with Asian and China's national standard odor test methods and standards. It has reached the international advanced level in general and provides a new method of high accuracy and high efficiency for the field of odor measurement in China.

According to reports, currently China's equipment for odor monitoring mainly relies on foreign imports. It is expensive and does not meet China's odor monitoring standards. The "smart odor analyzer" fills the domestic gap and is suitable for national standards and methods. At present, there are more than 350 primary and secondary agencies of the National Environmental Monitoring Station. The results will be promoted nationwide and will provide better services for the environmental management department.
