Kunlunlong DC project starts from Yunnan Kunbei Converter Station in the west, connects to Liubei Converter Station in Guangxi and Longmen Converter Station in Guangdong. It adopts ±800 kV three-terminal hybrid DC technology, with a total length of 1489 kilometers and a transmission capacity of 8 million. Kilowatts is a key trans-provincial transmission project identified by the National 13th Five-Year Plan for Energy Development and the 13th Five-Year Plan for Power Development. It is a national demonstration project for UHV multi-terminal DC.
The project plans to form a power transmission capacity in 2020, which will meet the needs of the development of Yunnan hydropower development such as Wudongde Power Station, and further enhance the capacity of Yunnan Power Transmission Channel, which will help solve the "Thirteenth Five-Year" and mid- and long-term Yunnan. Hydropower consumption problem.
The converter valve is the heart of flexible DC transmission. It is a bridge between DC and AC. It has the highest technical content and the greatest challenge in flexible DC main equipment. In June 2017, Nanwang successfully developed a UHV flexible DC converter valve, which increased the voltage level of China's flexible DC technology to ±800 kV, and increased the transmission capacity to 5 million kilowatts. It was sent to Wudongde in Guangdong Guangxi DC. The construction of the transmission project provides equipment and technical support.
The UHV multi-terminal hybrid DC converter valve test research platform is ±10.5 kV hybrid three-terminal DC system platform, and the soft-straight valve is a semi-full bridge hybrid topology. The valve flow capacity design is consistent with the Wudongde project, which can be realized It simulates the dynamic stress of the soft-straight valve under DC short-circuit fault, and can realize flexible conversion of various wiring forms. The platform can realize the complete physical test verification of the UHV hybrid topology flexible converter valve from the power module level to the valve level, and the hybrid multi-terminal DC control protection strategy verification.
It is understood that the UHV multi-terminal hybrid DC converter valve equipment test research platform has been activated to enter the commissioning phase. After the commissioning is completed, the platform will have the ability to undertake the complete test and verification of the Kunliulong DC project converter valve, and provide technical support for the Kunliulong DC project.
