Thousands of serpents appeared to be part of the villagers' homes.

Until yesterday (3rd) morning, in the Miaodongdong Village of Xinglong County, Hebei Province, not far from the junction of Beijing and Chongqing, dozens of villagers still beat snakes. On June 1, more than ten Beijingers came to the village and put thousands of snakes in the wild. The snake ran rampant and climbed into the villagers' homes, causing panic at the local time.

The village male labor force to fight snakes

The Miaodong Village in Xinglong County, Hebei Province is about 2 kilometers from the junction of Beijing and Chongqing. Yesterday morning, in the river ditch and hillside outside the village, more than 30 villagers held tools such as shovels and hammers to open corners and other corners one by one. “There was a snake, and we hurried to hit it.” When the voice just fell, several villagers immediately used a shovel to fight against a snake.

A hillside outside the village, some villagers are burying snake corpses in a pit. There are dozens of dead snakes in this pit. These snakes are different in color, length, and thickness. The small ones are a dozen centimeters long, the little thumb is small, the big one is nearly one meter long, and the big toe is thick.

When the villagers were fighting snakes outside the village, some villagers suddenly ran to report that the snakes were found in the houses of many households. Some villagers quickly rushed home and only ten minutes later, several villagers took more than a dozen snakes from their homes.

This is the third day of the villagers' action to fight snakes. The male labor forces that can be deployed in the village have all gone into battle. Ditches, slopes, and firewood canopies outside the village are used to “seeking for snakes”.

Thousands of snakes entered the village to cause panic

Suddenly the snakes in the village were rampant, resulting from the release of a group of foreign tourists at noon on June 1.

The villagers of Miaodong Village recalled that when many people had a rest at home at noon that day, the roadworkers outside the village suddenly ran to report that, “Come out to see if someone put a lot of snakes”.

Dozens of villagers immediately came to the road in front of the village and discovered that there were more than a dozen men and women cleaning white foam boxes, black plastic bags and other things in a river ditch. There were two gold cups waiting next to them. At this time, a large number of snakes have climbed along the river bank to a hillside not far away. The villagers were very dissatisfied with this and immediately stopped the dozens of men and women. The other said that they had just released more than 1,000 jins of snakes. There were thousands of them.

The villagers then stopped the dozen people. Mr. Wei, a village cadre who once worked in the forestry department of Xinglong County, immediately contacted the forestry public security department of Xinglong County. The forestry police then arrived on the scene and brought the passengers and village representatives together to the county to investigate the incident.

Mr. Li, secretary of the village party secretary, said that after the incident occurred, the villagers took down farm work and started a snake operation. Although Miaodong Village is in the mountainous area, it is not always a snake on the mountain. The villagers panic as the release of the passengers and snakes was extremely close to the residents. The villagers said that the number of snakes is large and toxic and non-toxic. Villagers also worry that if a large number of snakes catch animals such as frogs in the wild, they may have an impact on the local ecology.

Police involved in snake-killers lose money

Yesterday morning, Mr. Liu, director of the Forestry Public Security Bureau of Xinglong County, said that after receiving the alarm on the same day, the Forestry Public Security Bureau and the relevant staff of the relevant county authorities rushed to the scene to investigate.

According to the release guests, they have their own organization. They learned about the release of the news in the QQ group and released it in 9 vehicles. The snake was bought from a flower, bird, and fish market in Beijing's Dongsihuan, and everyone gathered at Longzai Subway Station and went to the ear hole to release it. They also do not know the true source of the snake.

Mr. Liu said that in accordance with Article 23 of China's Implementation Regulations for the Protection of Wild Animal Wild Animals, the introduction of wild animals from foreign or foreign provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government needs to be released into the wild, and the unit to be released should be to the people of the province, autonomous region, or municipality directly under the Central Government. The government's forestry administrative department shall file an application and, upon scientific demonstration by a scientific research institution designated by the forestry administrative department of the people's government at or above the provincial level, submit it to the forestry administrative department of the State Council or its authorized unit for approval. If wild animals are introduced into the wild without authorization or escape into the wild due to improper management, the wildlife administrative department shall order it to arrest it within a time limit or take other remedial measures. It is inappropriate for these letting offenders to secretly release such a large number of snakes into the wild without permission.

The Xinglong County forestry public security personnel preached relevant laws and regulations to these released passengers. After coordinating with the forestry public security department, the released passengers paid more than 40,000 yuan to the villagers to compensate for the losses caused by the villagers' use of snakes. In addition, the forestry public security department has brought back some dead snakes from the scene and sent them to the relevant agencies for inspection to determine the species and toxicity of these snakes. After the inspection results are available, they will promptly report back to the villagers.

As of yesterday morning, the villagers had killed hundreds of snakes and the snakes were still being carried out.
