1 Introduction
Luoyang Luanchuan Molybdenum Company relies on three tong - Nannihu large molybdenum deposit is a raw material base, an open-air mine, five molybdenum processing plant, two molybdenum iron plant, a flour mill molybdenum. With 2000~2500t/d mining and selection capacity, it can produce 3000t of molybdenum concentrate, 1000t of ferromolybdenum, 50t of molybdenum powder and 100t of molybdenum disulfide.
The company was formed in 1988 by the merger of the former Luanchuan (province) molybdenum mine and Luanchuan Molybdenum Industry Co., Ltd. The company is directly under the leadership of Luoyang City.
2. Deposits, ores and mining
Deposit: Sandaotun-Nannihu molybdenum deposit is located in Chitudian Township and Lengshui Township of Luanchuan County. It is the largest domestic and foreign molybdenum deposit. The ore reserves are 1400 Mt, the molybdenum reserves are 1300 kt, the average grade of molybdenum is 0.117%; the associated WO 3 reserves are 480 kt, and the average grade WO 3 is 0.12%.
The deposit consists of a main ore body with only a few branching ore bodies and sporadic small ore bodies distributed at the edge and top and bottom. Except for a small part of the main ore body, it is found in the porphyritic granite , and most of it is produced in the rock surrounding the rock. The ore body is simple in shape and has a large layered or layered shape. The total trend is 140°~3200°, which tends to be southwest. The trend is 1300~1800m wide, generally 80~180m thick, and the maximum thickness is 346.56m.
Ore: divided into four categories.
(1) skarn type molybdenum ore. It dominates. 70.6% of the total period of three mineral ore Tong, 77% of the amount of molybdenum metal. With a disseminated structure, the molybdenite crystal is coarse and has a diameter of 2~3mm. It is distributed in the form of star-shaped dots between calcium iron garnet and iron-rich diopside particles, often associated with quartz . Rich ore is often formed. The ore contains an average of 0.124% molybdenum.
(2) Angular rock type molybdenum ore. It is the main ore of the Nannihu mining section. It has a fine vein, net vein, and strip structure. The veinlets molybdenite, molybdenite - quartz veinlets, molybdenite - potassium feldspar - quartz veinlets, molybdenite - pyrite - potassium feldspar - quartz veinlets veins throughout the network consisting of diopside It is composed of stone-changying horn rock, biotite -changying horn rock and wollastonite horn rock. The ore contains an average of 0.07% to 0.10% of molybdenum.
(3) Patchy monzonitic molybdenum ore. It has a fine veined and disseminated structure. The molybdenite-pyrite-quartz fine veins are interspersed in the plaque-like monzonitic granites at the top of the rock mass, and in the sericitization (cloudy lithification). This type of ore is relatively small.
(4) Positive-length fine-grained molybdenum ore. There are very few such ores. It has a fine veined, invasive structure.
Ore mineral components is relatively simple, have abundant metallic minerals molybdenite, scheelite, pyrite, followed magnetite, pyrrhotite, occasionally yellow copper ore, sphalerite, molybdenum China, peacock Stone and so on. Gangue minerals mainly calcium iron garnet, garnet calcium molybdenum, idocrase, wollastonite, diopside iron-rich, silicon tablets magnesium, potassium feldspar, quartz, sericite.
Now, the molybdenum company has developed the Sandaotun section. 80s rock into the dressing ingredients shown in Table 1 and Table 2.

In the ore, metal minerals account for 3%: pyrite 1%, molybdenite 0.8%, pyrrhotite 0.3%, scheelite 0.16%, chalcopyrite 0.014%, magnetite 0.2%, hematite 0.1 %, a small amount limonite, covellite, sphalerite, galena and molybdenum China. 97% gangue minerals: Calcium Iron mayenite Abstract stone 50%, 13% diopside, 12% quartz, 10% plagioclase, 3.4% calcite, Yellowstone 2.8%, 3.3% wollastonite, further a small amount of epidote, tremolite, biotite, sericite, chlorite, apatite, anhydrite.
Molybdenum ore is a sheet-like single crystal or aggregate embedded in the gangue. Generally, the particle size is coarse. Only a few 1.8% of the fine scaly single crystals are dispersed in the gangue, and very few are present with scheelite. Fine grain (1~30μm) single crystal package. Molybdenite is not closely related to other minerals. The molybdenite has a particle size between 1 μm and 1 μm, usually between 20 and 400 μm, with an average of 64 μm. The particle size statistics found that +74 μm was 70.7%, +20 μm 92%, and -10 μm 1.8%. Among the various types of ore, the difference in particle size is large: in the skarn type molybdenum ore, the molybdenum ore is the thickest, and the long-angled-type molybdenum ore is finer. In different parts of the deposit, the molybdenum content and grain size are also different: the content of molybdenite in the middle part of the ore body is higher: the grain size is coarser; the edge of the ore body has lower molybdenite content and finer thickness.
Mining: The company coexists with pit mining (excavation capacity of 2000t/d). Car transportation.
3, the main selection of the factory
(1) Mahua Molybdenum Selection Plant: Located in Mahuan Village, Chitudian Township, Luanchuan County, it is adjacent to Sandaotun Open-pit Mine and has pit mining capacity. The existing mineral processing capacity is 1200t/d. The new 2000t/d plant is under construction.
Broken: consists of two series of the same medium and fine pieces. Process, three sections and one closed circuit. Equipment, one 600×900mm jaw crusher , two 400×600mm jaw crushers, two 1200mm medium cone crushers and two 1250×2500mm vibrating screens. The ore is crushed to -18 mm for use.

(2) Cold water molybdenum selection plant: located in Lengshui Village, Lengshui Township, Luanchuan County. It is adjacent to the two major molybdenum deposits between Sandaotun, Nannihu and Shangfanggou.
The factory was originally called “Luchuan (provincial) molybdenum mineâ€, which was expanded on the basis of the original “698†(built in August 1969) 50t/d plant. In 1988 merged into the molybdenum industry company.
The cold water molybdenum selection plant is composed of three plants: the large plant, which was newly built and put into operation in 1989, with 800t/d mineral processing capacity. The middle plant is a 50t/d plant selected by the original 698 plant. It has been expanded several times and has a mineralization capacity of 300t/d. Below, mainly introduce the big factory.
Broken: Process, three sections and one closed circuit crushing process. Equipment, 600×900mm jaw crusher (position mining pit), 400×600mm jaw crusher, ¢1200mm cone crusher, 1250×2500mm vibrating screen. After the ore is broken to -20mm, it will be sent to the main plant powder ore warehouse.
Rough selection: consists of the same two series. Process, a closed-circuit grinding, a rough selection, a second sweep. Equipment, each series has a 2.2×3.0m lattice ball mill , a ¢1500mm sorghum single spiral classifier, and a 6A flotation machine 16 slots (see Figure 2).

Selected sections: craft, one section of re-grinding, eight selections, two fine sweeps. Equipment, one 900×1800mm ball mill and 62 slots for 3A flotation machine. The process is shown in Figure 3-11.
