Oil upgrade is also key

However, in addition to Beijing’s implementation of local Beijing Five standard gasoline, and the implementation of national standard gasoline in some regions such as Shanghai, the Pearl River Delta, and Jiangsu, China’s other three regions are still implementing the three national standards. The national standard specifies that the sulphur content should not exceed 150ppm, which is 15 times that of Europe.

Improve fuel standards more directly

Similarly, after July 1, 2013, China's four emission standards for commercial vehicle countries will officially begin implementation.
