Improved Alcohol Distillation Process Proposed Energy Saving Award

The proposal of “distillation of differential pressure distillation of alcohol production” proposed by two employees of Henan Tianguan Group Co., Ltd. was recently awarded the “Outstanding Rationalization Suggestion for Energy Saving and Emission Reduction” in the “Month of National Staff Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Activities” organized by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.

The traditional alcohol production distillation process uses direct steam heating and is atmospheric distillation. After the distillation, the remaining alcohol and raffinate water contain a large amount of heat energy, which consumes a large amount of production and discharges more alcohol. In order to save energy and reduce emissions, Tianguan Group employees, after summing up many years of traditional production experience and absorbing new technologies, have optimized and transformed the key equipment for the alcohol production and distillation process through technological innovations, and developed a high-concentration fermentation to solve the negative problem. Pressure distillation reforming technology. This process makes full use of secondary steam, recovers heat energy from waste liquids and waste water, and uses them alternately in cycles to save steam and cooling water, thereby achieving the purpose of energy saving. After the waste heat is utilized, less than 400 cubic meters of dilute liquid can be produced every day, so that the energy consumption of alcohol production is greatly reduced and the environmental pressure is reduced.

Since the implementation of this technology in Tianguan in November 2006, after more than one year of operation, the ton of steam consumption of alcoholic products has decreased from 3.90 tons to 2.77 tons, the water consumption per ton of products has decreased by 6.56 tons, and the annual coal saving rate is 1.88 years. Ten thousand tons, economic and social benefits are very substantial. This technological transformation project has passed the project review of the first batch of circular economy pilot companies in the country and obtained special financial support from the country.
