The sludge concentration meter consists of a transmitter and a sensor. The sensor can be conveniently installed in the pool, drain, pressure pipe or natural water. The sludge concentration meter can automatically compensate for the interference caused by pollution. The sensor has an air cleaning function that automatically cleans the time according to a preset time, which greatly reduces the workload of instrument maintenance.
Sludge concentration meter installation instructions
In order to ensure the safety of the installer and the normal operation of the sludge concentration meter, please install in the following order:
1. Install the bracket of the instrument box and sensor;
2. The transmitter is loaded into the instrument box and fixed;
3. Install the sensor;
4. Electrical connection.
Sludge concentration meter transmitter installation
1. When selecting the transmitter installation position, you need to follow the following principles:
Avoid direct sunlight from the transmitter;
Avoid causing excessive vibration to the transmitter;
If possible, the transmitter should be mounted slightly above the operator's head-up level, which will allow the operator to navigate the front panel and control operations very comfortably; for the transmitter cabinet to open and There is enough space for maintenance, there are three holes in the back of the transmitter, the upper hole is used for suspension, and the lower two holes are used for bolting.
2. Installation of sludge concentration meter sensor
To ensure accurate measurements, the following criteria must be followed when selecting the sensor installation location:
The sensor should be installed in the proper position of the process to ensure representative measurement results, and the installation location should be convenient for the operator to perform the sampling operation. The distance between the sensor and the sampling point is recommended to be no more than 1.5 m. Incorrect sampling operations are a common cause of incorrect measurement data;
The sensor should be installed in an easily accessible location for periodic cleaning and maintenance of the sensor;
Avoid installing the sensor in a location with a lot of air bubbles because the air bubbles create an interference signal. In some application conditions, the generation of bubbles is difficult to avoid, for example in applications such as measuring centrate or filtrate, in which case the sensor should be installed in the degasser;
The sensor should be installed in a location where the process is well mixed and there is no downtime, which is usually where the sampling point is located;
The probe of the sensor should face away from the process medium.
There are two ways to install the sensor: immersion and plug-in.
3, immersion installation
The immersion installation refers to the way in which the sensor is immersed in the tank or in the tank through the mounting bracket. Suitable for aeration tanks, sedimentation tanks, concentration tanks, return channels and other occasions.
When immersed, the sensor must be mounted on the mounting bracket. The sensor cable should not be used to hang the sensor in the water. The sensor should be submerged to a depth of not less than 30 cm below the surface of the water, or immersed to the depth normally reached during sampling, and protected from direct sunlight.
