In recent years, many new molybdenite collectors have been reported domestically and abroad. Among them, the following are used:
(1) Austrian side (Orfem) series agent Philip output: American Phillips Chemical Company (a subsidiary of Phillips Petroleum Company) produces a range of new collectors, and has been widely used in the main by-product or production Molybdenum ore dressing .
Lee molybdenum float (Molyflo) is a non-polar, low cost and efficient molybdenite collectors, can replace kerosene, diesel oil, fuel oil. Its selectivity is better than kerosene and diesel, it can maintain stable operation for a long time, and can effectively improve the recovery rate of molybdenite. Like the Philippine float, it helps the coarse grain (>28 mesh) to rise with the main body. The molybdenite recovery can be increased at lower levels than conventional hydrocarbon oils.
Orfem MCO is a special collector for petrochemicals. Austrian CO400 and Austrian CO403 are similar to them. They can replace kerosene and diesel fuel oil, and are used as collectors for molybdenite in the rough selection section. CO400 not only improves molybdenite recovery, but also increases copper recovery.
Austrian CO300 is a hydrophobic compound and an effective collector for a variety of sulfide ores. In the selection of by-product molybdenum ore, CO300 has synergistic effect with other collectors, which has a significant increase in the recovery rate of molybdenum and copper. In production, the Austrian CO30 is usually mixed with diesel oil and kerosene to be used as a mixed collector. Recently, the newly developed Austrian CO800 is also a polar collector containing sulfhydryl groups.
The effects of these collectors are shown in Tables 1 to 6.

(2) a non-polar collector - and isopropyl Tu Tu: Tu general neither metal sulfide ore collector effect nor blistering effect, but once dissolved in kerosene tea water, will It is precipitated in scales and is easily adsorbed on the surface of molybdenum ore. When the slurry is added with 30g/t, the recovery of molybdenite can be increased by 2%. If combined with xanthate, the molybdenum recovery rate can be increased by 4%.
è¼ can not be directly added to the slurry, must be dissolved in kerosene at 70 ° C, and added to the mill at 30 ° C.
American cyanamide company L.D.Daw (Dowid) proposed the use of isopropyl hydrazine or diisopropyl hydrazine in combination with octacene or dodecyl sulphide to improve molybdenite recovery.
Obviously, isopropyl hydrazine or diisopropyl hydrazine is superior to steam oil and fuel oil. When they are combined with polar agents, the harvesting effect is better.
(3) The Soviet invention certificate 825164 reported the use of the production of isooctyl alcohol by-products in combination with xanthate and dithiosulfate to capture molybdenite.
The by-product of the production of isooctanol contains 70% to 90% of fatty alcohol (carbon 12 to 18). When it is mixed with xanthate and dithiosulfate in proportion, it is used as a collector for the Kalemaer copper-molybdenum ore. The copper recovery rate is increased by 2.7% and the molybdenum recovery rate is increased by 7%.
(4) Thiocarbamate - ИTK: ИTK - isopropyl thiocarbamate is a non-ionic collector. When copper-molybdenum ore is mixed and floated, ИTK 7g/t is added, and 20g/t of butyl sulphate is added to obtain 30.7% of copper concentrate, 0.47% of molybdenum, 84% of copper recovery rate and 71% of molybdenum recovery rate. . The recovery rate is similar, and the quality of the concentrate is higher than that of the yellow medicine only (21% copper, 0.34% molybdenum). After using ИTK, the separation effect of copper and molybdenum is better than that of yellow medicine alone.
(5) Others: In addition to the above, there are still many new agents reported in recent years.
Baghdad in Cyprus of the United States uses O-isopropyl N-ethylthiocarbamate and a fat fraction of Tal oil. The test for copper-molybdenum ore is 10.236% copper and the recovery rate is 93.49%. A copper-molybdenum mixed concentrate containing 0.2165% molybdenum and a recovery rate of 88.87%.
U.S. patents also report the selection of S-allyl-Sn-butyl-trithiocarbonate and N,N-dimethyl-S-benzyl-dithiocarbamate mixed collectors. Copper- iron -molybdenum ore.
Although there are still many new collectors reported, it is still rare to promote them to production.
